North Little Rock Catholic Academy's annual PantherFest, on April 27 was a great success thanks to the efforts of many parents and St. Mary Church parishioners who volunteered, corporate and group sponsors, the indefatigable head of maintenance (and jack-of-all-trades) Mark Curley, and of course, Denise Troutman, principal of NLRCA. There was a silent auction, raffle, games, a climbing wall and good food. There was also a dunking booth that the graduating members of the eighth-grade class, as well as our new Deacon, George Sanders, braved in unseasonably chilly weather. Overall, a great time was had by all.
