Jesse Manibusan entertains during the opening night of the 64th Annual Catholic Youth Convention May 10 at the DoubleTree Hotel and Robinson Convention Center in Little Rock.

Manibusan explains the theme, “Rise Up,” through his presentation and music. Manibusan humorously calls himself “a 52nd degree, high-octane evangelizer, undercover catechist and Catholic ninja.”

On May 11 the convention also featured workshops, an awards banquet and dance. A list of award winners will appear in the May 25 issue of Arkansas Catholic.
