Spring 40 Days for Life

Little Rock will participate again in the National 40 Days for Life — 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. This national event began in 2007 and has reported 5,928 lives saved from abortion since the campaign's inception. The spring campaign will kick-off with a rally Sunday Feb. 10, 3 p.m. at #4 Office Park Drive, the location of Little Rock Family Planning Services, the only remaining surgical abortion facility in Arkansas.

A silent prayer vigil will begin on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 13 and will be held daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This Lenten season, please prayfully consider taking a public stand for the voiceless and join us in prayer and fasting to bring about the end of the tragedy of abortion in our community. Contact your parish respect life coordinator to find out when your church will be praying or call Marsha Boss at (501) 960-5051 to volunteer at least one hour. If you have asked yourself "what can I do to end abortion?", this is your opportunity. Help us save lives. You can also go the local website for more information.
