For dozens of Catholic high school students in Arkansas, the highlight of the summer comes with the arrival of the Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference. The Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, conducts around 18 weekend conferences all over North America.
Many parishes from Arkansas, including Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Searcy and Rogers, sent young people to experience the conference on one of two weekends, July 6-8 and July 13-15 at Missouri State University in Springfield.
The weekend consisted of dynamic keynote speakers, energetic praise and worship sessions, Mass, reconciliation and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
