Arline Joy Vlastnik, secretary at St. James Church in Searcy, died June 14. She was 75. She was born March 5, 1937, in Chicago to Constance and Lydia Bukovsky Krupka. Vlastnik earned her master’s degree in business administration in mid-life from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill., and worked in business in the Chicago area for many years. After moving to Heber Springs, she became a member of St. Albert Church in Heber Springs and was church secretary there for several years. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Gulik, Susan Heinze and Josephine Wojack; two sisters, Lydia Stauber and Constance Koziol; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation was held June 18 at St. Albert Church followed by a memorial Mass at noon.
