For the third year the Catholic community at St. Elizabeth Church in Eureka Springs has presented a Yuletide Feast for the community, featuring Elizabethan choral music, drama and dinner.
Because of the success of the previous events, the event was expanded to two nights, Dec. 9 and 10. A Madrigal dinner is similar to a dinner theater and often performed in schools and churches around the country.
Everyone who attended the feast was considered guests at the king’s Christmas dinner. The six-course dinner with wine was prepared by pastor Father Shaun Wesley ( right). It featured hot spiced wassail and drunken fig cake.
Presenting the peacock pie Dec. 10 were Ryan Rowley, Rod McGuire and Keeton Boardman.
