’And with your spirit’: Common phrase is a theological statement
“And with your spirit” will be a common phrase heard at Mass starting Nov. 27. With the introduction of the third edition of the Roman Missal, the congregation will no longer say, “And also with you,” as has been the custom for the past 40 years. Instead it will be “And with your spirit.”

Cardinal: Ordinariate for former Anglicans will start Jan. 1
BALTIMORE (CNS) — A new ordinariate — functionally similar to a diocese — will be created Jan. 1 to bring Anglicans into the U.S. Catholic Church, announced Washington Cardinal Donald W. Wuerl during the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Nov. 15.

In the cross country state meet in November, Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock placed seventh overall in the girls 7A division. The top runner from MSM was 10th grader Cally Cochran, who came in 18th place. (Sports)
