Jason Pohlmeier, principal of St. Edward School in Little Rock, tries to keep cool in the heat while working on his laptop on the school building roof May 31.
On the second to the last day of the school year, Pohlmeier spent 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the roof to fulfill a bet he made with the students. He promised to spend the school day on the roof if at least 250 people attended the It Takes a Village fundraiser in April.
About 250 people attended the event, raising $22,000 for the school.
