These generous “angels” have given $11,955 through March 18, 2011, reaching 79 percent of our first-year goal of $15,000 in Arkansas Catholic’s first Guardian Angels campaign.
With these donations, the first year of The Southern Guardian has been scanned into a digital archive and it may be possible to have one more year scanned, the redesign of the newspaper is complete and work can be begun to update the website. Ninety years of issues remain to be preserved, but a good start has been made.
