Pro-life supporters gather Ash Wednesday, March 9, for a prayer service opening the fifth annual 40 Days for Life campaign outside Little Rock Family Planning Services in west Little Rock.
Bishop Anthony B. Taylor offered a blessing and a reminder of the importance of witnessing the Good News of Jesus to those in need. During the 40-day vigil, pro-life supporters pray and participate in peaceful activism daily to raise awareness of abortion’s effects. The west Little Rock surgical abortion clinic recently expanded services to Wednesdays, coordinator Mary Pate told the crowd.
40 Days for Life concludes April 17.
