Mary Pate, 40 Days for Life director in Little Rock, shares opening remarks during the kick-off of the fall campaign Sept. 19 outside Little Rock Family Planning Services, the only surgical abortion clinic in Arkansas.
Bishop Anthony B. Taylor led the group in prayer. The campaign officially began Sept. 22. Volunteers are encouraged to silently pray in front of the clinic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Oct. 31.
Forty Days for Life is also being held in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Fayetteville.
