Sister Mary Clare Bezner, OSB, of Jonesboro (front row, right) joins Youth Advisory Council members during “ice breakers and energizers” May 8 during the 61st annual Catholic Youth Ministry Convention.
The convention drew 640 high school students and their chaperones to the Double Tree Hotel and Robinson Center in Little Rock May 8-10.
Members of the Youth Advisory Council dressed up as “fruit of the vine” to bring this year’s theme to life, “I am the Vine, You are the Branches.”
Keynote speakers included Bob Perron of Des Moines, known as the Stooge for Christ. For the dance May 9, teens were encouraged to dress as their favorite television, video game or movie character.
