Marianne Linane, diocesan respect life director, Pat Kaminsky of Jacksonville, and Denise Shewmake and Marti Haslauer, both of Little Rock, pray a Rosary for Life at the intersection at 12th Street and University Avenue Jan. 22, on the 36th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision.
The gathering occurred in front of the Planned Parenthood Little Rock Health Center, which distributes RU-486 to induce chemical abortions. Jan. 22 has been designated by the U.S. bishops as a “day of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person.”
