The annual service in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary and Rosary Month was held Oct. 10 at St. Peter School in Pine Bluff.
Sister Denise Duplessis, DC, wrote the service and organized the program with the help of the sixth-grade class. The service was held outside by the statue of Our Lady in front of the cafeteria. The sixth-grade girls helped principal Carol Ann Beeman draw a rosary with chalk on the parking lot.
Each class was arranged around the rosary and a student from each class brought up a pampa plume to complete a fall arrangement for Our Lady. Songs included “Immaculate Mary” and “Hail, Holy Queen.”
Parents and parishioners were invited to attend, and pastor Father Donald Murrin, SVD, attended and blessed the procession.
