In all, 26, young adults attended this first gathering of Café Catholics, which is sponsored by the diocese’s Family Life Office. The young adult ministry group, from parishes throughout central Arkansas, is meeting on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the pizza restaurant through Oct. 23. Each faith gathering offers a guest speaker, group discussion and fellowship. Both married and single adults in their 20s and 30s are invited.
Tom Navin, director of the diocesan Social Action Office, will speak at the final meeting, Oct. 23, on the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ document, “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship.”
