Father Bartholomew Okere, a chaplain at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, places oil on the forehead of Rose Marie Nabholz, a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church in Little Rock, during the Seniors’ Day Mass at St. John Center in Little Rock Sept. 14.
Msgr. John Kordsmeier celebrated Mass for about 50 older Catholics. In addition to the sacrament of the anointing of the sick, the participants heard a presentation by Jimmie Lou Fisher from the Attorney General’s Office on identity fraud and ate a light supper.
