Evacuees from Hurricane Gustav seeking safety in Arkansas are receiving assistance from parishes throughout the state, said Sister Mary Lou Stubbs, DC, director of Catholic Charities of Arkansas.
Catholic Charities of Arkansas is using the diocesan Disaster Relief Fund to support these activities. Because the fund is supported totally by donations and has been used extensively to support recovery efforts after multiple tornadoes earlier this year, donations are needed at this time.
The money is used exclusively to assist those impacted by disasters through Catholic Charities’ Disaster Response Services Office and parish teams.
Send donations to Diocese of Little Rock, Disaster Relief Fund, P.O. Box 7565, Little Rock, AR 72217.
