Reminiscing

Father Thomas Keller, pastor of St. Rose Church in Carlisle and Holy Trinity Church in England, (right) and retired Father John Oswald of Little Rock (back right) visited July 9 with fellow alumni who were touring their old alma mater, the former St. John Home Missions Seminary, now St. John Center in Little Rock.
Today the campus houses the offices for the Diocese of Little Rock.
Father Keller graduated in 1958 and Father Oswald followed in 1961. Their friends, (from front left) retired Father Robert Shea, graduated in 1955. He is a priest for the Diocese of Raleigh, N.C., and lives in Southern Pines.
Retired Msgr. Joseph Bourque, also of the class of ’55, is from the Diocese of Lake Charles, La. Retired Msgr. Louis Melancon, class of 1963, is a priest for the Diocese of Lafayette, La., and lives in Opelousas.
Retired Father Richard Savary, (back from left), class of 1960, lives in Little Rock. And retired Father Grove Hayden, class of 1955, is a priest from the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
The men were in town for a class reunion held July 8-11.
