Sister Carolyn, a New Testament professor at the Brite Divinity School of Texas Christian University, was the featured speaker. The event focused on Paul’s Letter to the Romans in honor of the Universal Church’s Year of Paul, which runs through June 2009. The year marks the 2,000th anniversary of the apostle’s birth.
The institute, held June 20-22, included six sessions, prayer, small group discussion and Mass celebrated by Abbot Jerome Kodell, OSB, of Subiaco Abbey. A total of 115 people attended representing 14 states.
