David G. Turner of Lowell entered his photo of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers to win Arkansas Catholic’s photo contest to select a picture for the cover of the 2009 diocesan directory.
Second place went to Melodie J. Claussen of Hot Springs for a photo of St. Agnes Church in Mena. Paul McGuyer of Charleston won third place for a photo of St. Ignatius Church in Scranton. McGuyer also won honorable mention, as did John Griffin of Searcy.
The contest, open to amateur and professional photographers in Arkansas, drew 16 qualified entries this year.
