Bishop Emeritus Andrew J. McDonald celebrates Mass, assisted by Deacon Bo McAllister, Jan. 4 in Morris Hall Chapel at St. John Center in Little Rock for current and retired diocesan employees.
Following Mass, a luncheon was hosted in his honor. Bishop McDonald, 84, shared the sad news of the Dec. 25 death of his last sibling, Ann Jordan.
The retired bishop, who is a chaplain for a retirement center in Palatine, Ill., returns to Little Rock each January to visit friends and get his annual medical checkups.
