The Diocese of Little Rock established a fund in memory of the late diocesan associate religious education director who was killed in a car accident Dec. 3. The Sandy Compas Fund for Religious Education will be used to support services and programs offered through the Office of Religious Education and Christian Initiation where Compas worked for the past three years. The formation of catechists was one of Compas’ loves.

People in the Diocese of Little Rock continue to mourn the death of Compas. For those who couldn’t travel to Missouri for her funeral and burial, a memorial Mass was held Dec. 13 at her parish, Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church in Little Rock.
