Maddie Goodner hopes to snag the big fish at the end of her line at St. Peter’s Fishing Trip booth at Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Barling. The parish hosted the All Hallows Eve party as an an alternative to haunted houses and treat-or-treating Oct. 31. Children came dressed as saints and carved pumpkins, performed skits and begged the adults for alms (candy).
